 Ms Hurley has over 20 years of experience in Civil Engineering and Construction working across a range of sectors including energy, rail/transport and construction. She has been a Built Environment Specialist Auditor within BSI. Her primary focus over the last several years has been auditing clients within the design, construction, civil engineering and construction/manufacturing fields within standards such as BIM , NHSS, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 44001. Across these certifications she has also worked within electrical component manufacturing, telecomms, quarries, asphalt and B2B companies. Prior to this, for over 15 years, she worked on major infrastructure projects for both the Client and Tier 1 contractors. Within these roles she managed packages of works and certifying the works, material compliance and asset lifecycle management as well as 1st and 2nd party audits and audit programmes.. These roles have enabled her to assure a complete package of works from concept design through to operational and maintenance phases and she fully comprehends the importance of the management of associated assets and the concepts/importance of self-certification and standard compliance.
